Suggestions for next cruise??

OK....

I have about 68 days left until my Miracle cruise and I am already anticipating PCD. I was thinking that it would be nice for all of you to share your BEST cruise experience in order to help me start planning my next sail.

I was thinking that I'd REALLY love to try a Panama Canal Cruise. My DH would love this as well; he, because he wants to go through the canal, and I would enjoy a stop in Costa Rica....I once hosted an 18 year old exchange stdent from Costa Rica and she is now like my 3rd daughter....I absolutely love her and would love to 'pop' in and see her!

So...has anyone done the Panama Canal Cruise (any cruise line?) or..what else would you suggest??????

halos - Our Panama Canal cruise on Carnival Spirit ranks at the top of our favorites list. It was one of our favorite ships, too. Of course, it could have had something to do with it being 14 days, too.Wink.gif We went West to East on that one, and we want to do West to East next time.

14 days sounds glorious...may have to wait for that one. I've got 2 years left until my youngest starts college. I think it will be a nice cruise to take the minute my nest becomes empty!!

Woah!!!

East.....that does sound awesome...but did you see what I said about college....I'll have two in at the time. I don't think 30 days on the sea will be within the budget; but it's always nice to dream......

maybe I should start playing the lottery????

It does sound long but I'd be VERY willing to give it a try...nothing ventured, nothing gained.....

After 30 days, I might never want to go home.

I cannot speak for the Panama Canal, but my favorite by far has been the southern Caribbean aboard the Destiny. We have done this route twice and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

We did the Panama Canal several years ago. Make sure you're more into relaxing than activity that cruise. They are a slow pace with and older crowd, which is great if you just want to veg.

We did a 12 day Southern Caribbean on the Celebrity Millennium. It was great and stopped in Costa Rica and Panama. We did not transverse the canal, but took the train ride to Panama City. Wonderful!!
