any helpful info on Liberty Mediterranean cruise?

HI - loved all the great help on last year's Alaska cruise. We are planning Liberty cruise to Mediterranean in July. Would love all suggestions. Are there hairdryers in the cabins?? Is Florence worth the trip there? Any suggestions on excursions? ( have read and re-read bobbi3's wonderful hints) Have cruised on Holland American, never Carnival. Differences??
