dawn Feb 2 Posted January 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2006 I remember reading that the iced tea on NCL is pretty bad. Can anyone comment on whether it has gotten any better recently. Thanks in advance!
shoreguy Posted January 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2006 I like it but you need lots of ice. The Starbucks of iced tea:D You can always make your own - no shortage of tea bags, hot water, and ice
BarbCT605 Posted January 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2006 I didn't think it was bad...not the greatest, but not bad!
babywewe Posted January 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2006 Bring a nalgene bottle with you! ( or something like it...everyone makes them now) http://www.montkid.com/montkid/images/large/nalgene_pink_wide_mouth_lg.jpg There those water bottles which you can fill with hot water...make your own "ice tea" ! The ice tea they have is not sweet , very strong ....and its made from some sort of mix. BLAH! If you bring the nalgene bottle you may want to think about getting those "on the go" ice tea mix's from the market. Super cheap and easy! crystal light , lipton, target brand, 4c .... lot of brands make the ice tea on the go.
IrisF Posted January 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2006 I take the Lipton "cold water" tea bags. Put one in the Nalgene bottle with the amount of sugar you like and you have excellent iced tea. Beats a powdered mix IMO. They can even be folded and poked into a regular water bottle. Not quite as good as real brewed, but close.;) Irisf
Hikini Posted January 23, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 23, 2006 The iced tea on the Spirit was plentiful and very good. (Better in the dining rooms than in the dispenser machines.) They serve it with lemon and there are packets of sugar or sugar substitutes on the table. Enjoy! Hikini:D
