Checking in separately to cruise

Recommended Posts

I have searched and not found the answer to this question, so hoping someone has had this situation before.

Due to work/school schedules, my husband may have to fly in separately from us for the next cruise.  I will have the kids with me.  We are thinking about meeting on the ship, will he be allowed to check in separately for the cruise than the rest of the family staying in the same room?  Not sure how that all works.... Thanks!
