My mother-n-law has been on many cruises in her life and she looked at the excursions that I had printed up from NCL Spirit...She says that there will be alot of bartering going on. ex: nails $5 per nail you say $1 they say 4.50 you say 1 then you walk away, they will come back with 1.50...make us all look pretty...Anyone with great excursion tips please pass on...1st time cruiser with 2 boys (10 and 13) and of course the hubby...we sail NCL Spirit on April 2 :D

My #1 tip would be to research and research. Then once you decide what you want to do at a certain port look into boooking it on your own.

#2 tip at flea market type places and vendors walking around never ever pay the first asking price, I have gotten things half of what they started at. I didn't plan to get this one item and they the guy came down so low I got it as a gift.
