dress code for dinner on Costa Magica

Can anyone provide some guidance on what people have been wearing for dinner,( ie. the range of casual to fancy) and how many formal nights there are on the South Eastern Carribean intinerary?

Look at Cruise4Andy's review of the Costa Magica. He provides great details on the theme & attire for each night. There are 2 formal nights, an Italian night, Tropical night and last night is Toga Night.

We just got back from the 1/15 Western itinerary. There were 2 formal nights and I saw people in tuxes and long gowns to khakis and capris. On the other nights it was khakis/capris, jeans and some had shirts & ties.

So jean ARE acceptable for dinner. A friend of mine who has gone on cruises before said that they weren't. WHEW I was worried about having to do a bit of shopping for DH. He's a definate Jeans kinda guy! :rolleyes:

We wore jeans to dinner a couple of nights and so did most of our tablemates. No one seemed to mind. There were a number of other guests in jeans and I even saw shorts a few times.
