CRUIZIN SUZAN Posted April 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I did read the post on the dinner menu and can't wait for our trip next week on the Conquest. I have a question though- my last cruise on Carnival I recall there being a note on each dinner menu stating that there was always an entree option of grilled steak, salmon, or grilled chicken breast along with spaghetti and a baked potatoe. Can anyone tell me if this is still offered. I have read that you can always ask for something that is not on the menu but I am positive this was printed nightly on the menu and wonder if it is still available. Thanks again for your time. Salty Dawg Posted April 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2004 You must be thinking of Princess menus. After 8 Carnival cruises, I do not recall every seeing that on the menu. You might be able to get it though, if you have a good waiter, they can usually get you what you want within reason. tef43 Posted April 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I've never seen it disclosed on the menu, but a steak is *always* available off-menu at dinner. lephysteria Posted April 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2004 I can remember seeing it on the RCCL menus, but never on the Carnival menus. However, if you're telling me that instead of choosing from the traditional items, I have the option of having a steak ... well ... ! How fabulous would that be? Knights on the Beach Posted April 14, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2004 I can't remember if I ever saw it on the menu, but I do know that we've had some waiters on Carnival tell us at the beginning of the cruise that steak is always an option.
