Hello Fellow Cruisers!

 

Every time I go on a cruise, I look for recent daily newsletters to get excited and see what types of activities are offered on the ship. I decided to save all of our freestyle newsletters on our recent 5 day Norwegian Sun sailing to Cuba so I could share with other people. The link is below. thanks for sharing these... question: when the ship is docked at Cuba overnight, is the casino closed? I know they usually are closed when the ship is in port but wondered about this since its in port all night..

Yes, the casino was closed the entire stay in Havana.

Thanks so much. 28 days and counting. Printed  so family ranging from 25 to well into social security might get heads up. Just watching the sites with travel restrictions . So far none out there.

Thank you so much! 48 days until I leave on the same cruise. This gives me a great idea of what is going to be happening.

This is totally off topic...  being that you were just there maybe you can help me. 🙂  do they have "real" hair dryers on the ship?   Or should I bring my own?

They do have hair dryers. I used it once and thought it was sufficient. I would recommend just looking up a Youtube video to see the type, but it's the kind that is attached to the wall and when you pull out the hose, the hot air comes out. They are located above the toilets which was a little weird, but again sufficient.

I have short, thin hair - hair dryer was fine for me...however, if you have long, thick hair bring your own hair dryer.
