Fantasy dining room surprise

Was on 1-15 Fantasy trip and really surprised at all the shorts and jeans that were in the dining room including formal night. Is this something new? All else on cruise was super.

Unfortunately this is not new, nor is it likely to change. There will always be those who feel the dress guidelines do not apply to them. The mentality seems to be "I paid for this cruise, I should be able to do whatever I want."

 

Its the same thought process that justifies saving deck chairs, yelling/cursing in front of others and buffet line-jumping. People. Go figure! :p
