cruisekitty22 Posted May 17, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2019 We have a cabin across from the studio lounge on the Getaway. How noisy is the studio lounge? Is it open all night? Did we make a mistake booking this room because of the noise? Someone please ease my mind!
ColinIllinois Posted May 17, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2019 You won't have any problems with noise. It's rarely used with the exception of a happy hour meetup.
Rare www3traveler Posted May 17, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2019 The Lounge is more of a place to get a snack than anything else. Most of the time it is either empty or not more than 5 people. Late afternoon, early evening that might be a gathering but you will not hear it. The Entrance door slamming would probably more of a nuance than anything else. smplybcause Posted May 17, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2019 It's open all the time, but like others said noise isn't a problem. I just cruised in the studio cabin right next to the lounge door - so even closer than you! - and had absolutely no problem with the noise. perditax Posted May 17, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 17, 2019 You're going to hear a lot more noise from the room stewards than the lounge. (Source, 3x solo on GA.)
Defhermit Posted May 17, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2019 the lounge is not a club, it's just a room to meet up in with some OJ, water and cookies. the only music is like background-at-Starbucks type music. being right next to the lounge will be great because you can grab a cup of water whenever you want really quickly. Oh okay thanks, I should read more closely. My main point still stands, they will hear no noise from the lounge is my guess.
