hardingk Posted January 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2006 We are sailing on the Mercury to Mexico on 4/7/06 sailing. We are thinking about doing the Pirate Boat Adventure Excursion in Puerto Vallarta an was wondering if anyone has done this excursion before, if you could answer a few questions: The descrption says that you will stop at a secluded beach, where you can take a banana ride, kayak, snorkel, boogie-board, play volleyball or just take in the sun. Are these things included in the price or is there a seperate charge? How long do you have at the beach? Is the food safe it eat? Thanks!!
MSN-Travelers Posted January 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2006 Tour web site is at - http://www.marigalante.com.mx/ Full description of excursion is at - http://www.marigalante.com.mx/pirateLand/information.htm Includes a list of all included activities, time on the beach, etc. A reputable third party tour seller - http://www.vallartaonline.com/tours/marigalante/ If, as a cruise ship passenger, you can't book directly with the tour operator for the reduced internet price. As long as you don't purchase food or beverage products from street vendors, you can eat the food, drink the water, suck the ice cubes and enjoy yourself in Vallarta. The cruise ship and tourist industry could not sustain itself if they sent people on excursions where people got sick. Too much heat, sun, booze, and rich foods with too little water is the real cause of digestive problems in Mexico or any other place on earth. Enjoy! We always do and that is why we come back year after year.
