OWNERS SUITES on Fantasy Class Vessels - Does anyone have Pics??

I tried searching on this site for threads I have seen in the past on this subject - only to come up empty handed...

 

Just curious as to what, if any, additional perks one receives if they sail in an "Owners Suite"??

 

There is NOT a balcony, correct? (just a Lido deck view?)

 

How large is the room, and how furnished?

 

(last, but not least) Does anyone have links to any PICTURES of these elusive cabins?

no they are not CAT 12's... there are only TWO on all (most?) FANTASY CLASS ships... you will not find them listed in brochures...

 

do you recall several dark tall windows overlooking the Lido Deck pool area? that would be them...

I do remember noticing those windows above the deck and could see people in there (a lot of people)one time. I too would LOVE to know what those cabins look like and who gets to stay in them?

 

 until we cruise again!!!

Tom - I remember the guy posting the descriptions of these a long time ago -- maybe search (I know the search option doesn't often work) under 'Penthouse' suites -- I think that's what the guy that has stayed in them called them versus owner's suites. Good Luck -- I remember reading his comments and they sounded fantastic and I do believe you're correct - no balcony.

I remember reading where you have to book a suite to begin with, then write a letter directly to Bob Dickinson requesting the Owner's Suite. I don't think there was any extra charge.

Actually the charge is an additional 300-500 per person (depending on cruise length) over the full Cat 12 price - so pretty pricy... especially when you forfeit the balcony!!!

They are only on Fantasy ships and not all of them. They are not on the Paradise. We went on a tour of them on the Imagination becasue it was empty. It is beautiful eventhough most of the time the curtins are pulled as eveone from the lido deck could see in. The girl who took us on the tour said taht they are not rented out that they are for top executives that Bob D. deals with.

Lets see if I can remember... I believe that the doors to the owner's suites were directly across from the spa entrance. When you walk in, there is a bar on the right. Just past that is a living room on the right (with balcony access), and a dining area on the left. Go straight down a short hallway, and the master bedroom is in front of you. The master bedroom bath and walk in closet, are to the left and behind you, as you walk in to that room. The bed is directly in front of you as you walk in. Did that make sense?

I have stayed in the Owners Suites quit a few times. All of the rooms are in great shape (considering they dont get used much). I took a 4 day cruise on the Fantasy in the Owners Suites and when I compared it to the other owners suites I stayed in on the newer fantasy class ships, I could tell the room had a little more wear. The rooms are VERY nice, but as you can see by my pictures, they are a bit outdated (compared to the owners suites on other ships). The newer the ship is, the better shape the room is in. The owners suites are on all Fantasy Class Ships EXCEPT for PARADISE & ELATION.

I have pictures of when I stayed in the owners suites on other Carnival ships as well, but I have not had a chance to add all my other photos. If anyone would like additional photos, feel free to e-mail me. The owners suites look pretty much the same on all the Fantasy Class ships except for a few modifications on the Inspirations Owners Suite.

alrighty THEBIRD - an e-mail is on its way...

 

I ended up changing my booking to a CAT 6A (and saved $2500 over the Penthouse rate) - so we could at least see out... the Cat 12's (which we have opted for before) on the Fantasy class ships are too pricy for the balcony you get... that could be because my idea of a REAL balcony is an AFT WRAPAROUND on the Spirit or Conquest classes...

 

If only the Penthouse had a water-slide into the pool.... then it would be worth the $1700 each for the 4-day... LOL
