Hotels near pan america pier

Looking for a hotel close to pan American pier and the beach. We have 6 people. Do any of the hotels have suites for 6 people? Also close to shopping, restaurants, etc.  we will be arriving March 27-29. Boarding freedom of the seas. Have never left from San Juan before. And don’t know the area.

all hotels are pretty much close to the pier if you want to stay on the beach then i suggest Isla Verde.  I proffer it to Condado

Try Embassy Suites and Casino, we had a two bedroom suite last August. One room had the full suite with the pull out couch and table for four in the living room, a full bath and a king size bed in the bedroom. The connecting room had two queens and full bath.

Phoenix cruiser how far was it to the port and how much for a taxi? We were actually looking at this hotel?

It is 11 miles, we grabbed a taxi van as we had a toddler in a car seat. Due to many issues and complaints the rates are now regulated so you won't get ripped off.

Also, there is a Walgreens, which sells liquor and wine and a grocery store within walking distance. They also have access and chairs available on the ocean.

Our meal at Outback was so much better than any Outback we visited in AZ.

Phoenix cruiser did you like the embassy? We booked it yesterday. Also, is it easy to get around San Juan? If you look at google map it seems so far.

We did like the Embassy and would stay there again. The renovations from the hurricane should be done by now. It wasn't far from the airport or the pier and the taxi rates are now regulated. They have a nice pool and a reserved area on the beach within walking distance.
