Sisters passport run out

Hi all

 

my sister who is American is due to come with us on our cruise from Miami round the Caribbean and back to Miami not visiting Cuba. 

 

Her passport has expired can she use her US ID and Birth Certificate to board the ship

We just sailed on the Seaside.  My hubby did not have a passport.  He had a certified birth certificate and a drivers license and it was fine.  I also made a copy of it and kept it in my bag just in case he lost it but they only looked at it one time at check in.
