Can anyone explain to me why there is a weight limit for the excursions "Beach Day At Amatique Bay Resort"? The shore excursions from NCL states there is a 200 lb weight limit.

This trip involves a bus ride, lunch, and a day at the beach.

 

Could this be an error in the information? Does anyone know if they stick to this guideline? Thanks.

I checked with NCL about this - they checked with the tour operator - who said in effect that there is no need for any restriction. Personally I think the restriction has been applied to the wrong excursion - there is another excursion that starts at Amatique Bay that involves Kayaking - I think the restriction is probably applicable to it. I assume that they just have not corrected their info yet. If you have any doubts contact NCL Shore Excursions.

I think that resort is accessed by water taxi? Maybe that is the reason for the weight limit?
