iujen94 Posted June 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2019 I’m so sorry - I know this has been asked 100 times, but I’m having a horrible time searching the forums on the ship’s WiFi. We are on Radiance on the ultimate dining package. Are gratuities included, or should we tip as if we are paying full price? Or - are gratuities are included, but we should leave a little extra to be generous? Thanks!!!
Hogbay Posted June 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2019 Don't worry, if it was purchased via cruise planer the 18 % is included in all dinner packages if you purchase on board it is additional to the price and added too . So you have payed gratuities 18% .already. have a great cruise. ☺ and hurry up. We are sailing on her September 20 Hawaii to Sydney bringing her back to Australia 😀

Surfguyxxx Posted June 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2019 Included as everyone states but we always leave a little something for the wait staff.
Spidybabe1 Posted June 15, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2019 You have already paid 18% for tips Safe sailing
er345 Posted June 15, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2019 Yes you have paid 18% of a reduced price. If you ate at a land based restaurant and used a 50% off coupon would you then tip on the lower bill reducing the waiter’s tip by 50%? Or would you still tip based on what the full price would have been. It’s up to you. Some people will still tip some extra cash at the ship’s Specialty dining venues if they have received excellent service. This makes up for the smaller tip you prepaid when you bought the package. But you don’t have to feel pressured to tip extra.
Ken at the beach Posted June 15, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2019 If you purchase a package on board the 18% will be added to the cost. if you purchase the package through the cruise planner all that it states is that gratuities are included. We have no way of knowing how much is passed on to the waiter as a gratuity. It is totally up to you to decide on how much, if any to tip based on these facts. We never know anything about gratuities anyway - they do whatever they want anyway, playing the guild game money scam - so it's no different! 🙄🙄🙄 Edited June 15, 2019 by Thorben-Hendrik
