Eastern Caribbean Weather in March?

Howdy,

 

What is the weather like in early March? Are any of the sea days cold, like the first/last one? How about the seas... rough? Is it usually sunny season on the islands? Thanks ya'll!

We've been on several cruises now and we still think back to our very first ten-day cruise on Princess on an Eastern Caribbean itinerary -- glorious weather the entire time - in March.

I would think March would be fine I know Feb is.

Until last week I would have said you should be fine. We cruised last March and had very smooth sailing.

 

Currently the Caribbean is seeing very unusual "action" Last week you could not stay on any of the beaches on St John as the waves were crashing all the way through the beach into the trees.

 

While at the Fort Lauderdale airport waiting for our flight home we met this family who had just come off a Western Caribbean cruise and they were only able to get off at 1 port. The rest of the time they had to stay on board.

 

Who knows how long this will continue.
