Shuttle from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Port for 8

Hi. We are a "crew" of 8, sailing on Zenith in March. We're flying in to Fort Lauderdale airport. We have options. We can stay in FLL or Miami but either way, we'll need transportation to the hotel and, more importantly, to the Port of Miami. Does anyone have any suggestions on the least expensive way to get around? Are there shuttles that will take us from FLL airport to the Port in Miami and back?

 

We have a couple of free hotel rooms at the Hampton Blue Lagoon at Miami's airport, so I'm hoping we can get a shuttle from Fort Lauderdale's airport to the Miami airport. There's a free hotel shuttle to the hotel from Miami's airport. Then, we'd need a shuttle to take us to the Port in Miami in the a.m. and a shuttle to take us from the Port of Miami to the airport in Fort Lauderdale on our return.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shuttle's from FLL to Mia are plentiful and easy to find even if you just go to the curb at the airport. With your crew, you would probably do better to reserve a whole vehicle in advance. Easy to do online.

 

Some Miami hotels will have shuttles to port. Have you checked yours?

When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of our starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "AIRPORT EXPRESS" in red on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you.

Thanks to all of you! Our hotel doesn't offer a free shuttle to the port, only to the airport.

We'll check into one of the other options!
