Forward Facing OV (O2)-Escape

We usually always do balconies but was looking at the forward facing OV cabins 14700, 13700, 12700, etc on the Escape for a 9 night cruise we are planning. I saw a few pictures and videos and can’t get over how much larger they seem.  Do they really have that much space?  Storage?  We will have our 16yr old son with us and that separate room for him seems perfect.  If you have stayed in any of these cabins or have actually walked through them could you please give me your advice.

Make sure you book the Family Oceanview, not all oceanview rooms have that extra room.
