NCL Epic - Mediterranean - Arrival Time in Naples

We are taking a cruise on the NCL Epic end of July. I am trying to book a ferry trip in Naples, and theres an 8:05 am ferry. My cruise itinerary documents say we arrive in Naples at 7am. I assume we literally arrive at 7am, and then have to wait to be cleared? or does that mean we will be able to get off at 7am? Anyone have any advice or info on this? I don't want to miss the ferry. There is later times possible, but it would just cut down the already short day.

I was under the impression its a short walk in to the city (20 mins) Does the ship dock far enough away to warrant a ferry ride ?
