Viking on board gifts

Has any one ever ordered from the Viking gift form?  This is our very first river cruise and was thinking about having a little bon-voyage gift waiting for us!

Our daughter ordered strawberries and wine for my wife's birthday on an ocean cruise.  They never showed on the birth date.  I was in on the deal and told her.  She got a complete refund and they did finally show three days later.  Small sample size, but the people that take your order are disconnected by time and distance form those who execute.  Have a great trip!

I have never seen a gift form for Viking river cruises.

Seems that this gift service is available in US , but I can't see any reference to it on UK site.

 

If buying for oneself, then why not pack chocs or wine (although since its probably the house red and white you can take your fill at meal times) in baggage. There's plenty of fruit available at mealtimes, both prepared at breakfast and lunch, on buffets and as desserts. 

 

Floral bouquets and sacher torte... Of the two, since we get so much food on board that leaves only the flowers 🙂
