FLL airport to the pier

How much is a cab from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the pier? What other choices are there that might be cheaper for a family or 4?

Cost of cab is approx $14 if you hit all the lights and wait to enter the port (please have photo ID and cruise tickets at hand for inspection at port security gates)

 

There are some minivan cabs available, but many just accommodate one passenger and a wheelchair confined passenger.

 

Depending on how much luggage you have and how busy the taxi line is at the airport upon arrival, you may need 2 cabs. The taxi starter should be able to tell you how long you would need to wait for a van.
