CaptData Posted April 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2004 I just received a Boarding Voucher in the mail from Ramada Plaza Resorts. It for me and friend to stay there two nights then go on a Carnival cruise to Bahamas thenthree night in South Florda. ($1600.00). My question is has anybody ever gotten this and is it on the up and up? What type of room do you get? What would you do in the Bahamas? I would have to pay airfare, meals and excursions (tips too). Thank you for your answers in advance. kiberkid Posted April 17, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2004 A couple of years ago we "took advantage" of Ramada Plaza Resorts deal. The Ramada Plaza we stayed in in Orlando was "alright". We got free tickets to Universal Studios after listening to their time share spiel. We upgraded from the Imperial Magesty to Carnival, but ended up on NCL. The 3 day cruise to Nassau was great. The 3 days in Ft Lauderdale @ the Holiday Inn in Pompano Beach was alright... The Alamo car was a little Lancer (got great fuel mileage). All in all we could have done better on our own, but it was not a total rip off. Cruising89143 Posted April 17, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2004 Run away from that as fast as you can. Too good to be true. They have had many complaints filed against them.
