Any thing I should know before booking Triumph..

April '07. This will be the first real vacation we have taken since the arrival of DD in Oct '04. Is there something that was great that we need to make sure we hit, or a dud to pass on??

I loved the Triumph - are you planning on the eastern or western itinerary? Did you book your cabin yet? There are L-shaped rooms on the upper and empress decks that have longer balconies for the same price. Some CC friends of ours had them last month and just loved them. We were in our first corner-aft 7425 and it was fantastic.

 

If doing the eastern, do try the Godfrey tour of the island - it is a wonderful FULL day and well worth the $20 we paid PP.

We did the Western in Feb. 2005 on the Triumph, and we booked the Eastern for Feb. 2007. Both on the Triumph. I booked cabin 8428 (Verandah Deck, Aft with wrap-around deck) for both cruises. I love that room!

We are looking at the Eastern and booking a balcony guarntee(SP). This will be our first 7 day on Carnival..
