My Time Dinning Waitlisted

We just booked the Sunshine for September.  I am wait listed for my time dinning.  When I board the ship is there a location that I can go to and put my request in again?  

 

I know on another cruise line we cruised there was a specific location to go to and have your name put on a list.  

 

I do realize I can go to the buffet.  We have always had the early seating when traveling with my parents and now would like to try something different.

You can see the maitre d' on embarkation day and see if he or she can help you, but there are no guarantees.  Your Time Dining (what Carnival calls it), tends to be very popular.  They try to make everyone happy, but there's only so much they can do if there is no room in YTD.  You would probably have an easier time trying to switch to late dining, to be honest.

yea, I just don't like late dinning.  I can't eat that late.  Plus if there are movies playing......it would be a buffet night for me 🙂

Update -- my cruise is Oct 26, and we are now confirmed for MTD rather than waitlisted.  I'm sure it opened up after final payments were due.  Happy Happy!
