When you're on a cruise, how would a person back home contact you in an emergency? I've gone to the RCCL site and don't find anything except the ship to shore number. Is that the only way to reach us?

They can call 1-888-724-7447..... They will probably need the name of your ship. It's $7.95 a minute from the US, they'll need to have their credit card out.

 

Unfortunately, my family ended up needing to reach us on our Enchantment cruise. My Grandfather passed away. We hadn't provided our family with information to get in touch with us, but my stepmom was smart enough to figure it out.... We were cave tubing in Belize when they called. We were back in our room for all of 10 minutes when someone from the ship called our room and passed on the message to call our family.

 

If it wasn't urgent, your family could email you. You can check your email on the ship.
