Celebrity knows how to dock in Hawaii

Greetings Celebrity cruisers,

My wife and I recently spent a week on Maui and were very pleased to see how the Celebrity Infinity was docked in Lahaina. In Lahaina, most other cruise lines anchor their vessels offshore and tender their passengers ashore. But not Celebrity. They pull right onto the beach to dock icon_eek.gif (see photo)Infinity docked at Lahaina. I just wish all cruise lines could be as efficient as Celebrity. We will be cruising Hawaii in September on the Pride of Aloha and hope that we get this kind of service.

Glad you are so happy about the docking; we were on the Hawaii cruise and when the ship tried to dock at one of the islands (cant remember which one) it hit the dock and sent all the dishes in the dining room airborne, lol. We had been having very rough seas to the point where the water in the spa and pool was going right up into the air and landing all over the decks. Seasickness was rampant; and you know what, we still had a wonderful time and still love Celebrity.
