ddl Posted June 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Looking for pointers and benefits of using a TA vs. Celebrity when booking a group. Will be going on Millenium 3/6/05 and so far have 16 people interested. Various TA's have put packages together....Celebrity hasn't called me back. Is this a sign? hdawson Posted June 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2004 TAs will almost always have better pricing and provide continueing service. I think you will get one free berth for every 10 or 12 cabins booked.

Luvtotrav Posted June 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2004 I put together a group cruise to Alaska in July. We have 36 people going with us. I used Best Price Cruises. They have been great and I have yet to find a better price by any other outfit. You can go to their web site and get the phone number as well as look at available cruises. The same benefit is given there for every 8 rooms sold. One passenger ticket paid except for taxes and port charges. You also will have to pay your own airfare. Be sure to consider that when pricing the trip for all involved.
