lmmn Posted January 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2006 We will be leaving in a couple days, and I have a couple questions.... 1) Can you get cash at casino from sea pass...any restrictions w/amount? 2) What time would you recommend going to port...11:00 sound about right? darrencantwait Posted January 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2006 yes, you can take out cash at the casino against your seapass. I don't recall the limit, but $200/day is coming to mind for some reason. Getting to the terminal at 11am is probably fine. But, if you get on the ship before 1pm, it is unlikely you will be able to go to your stateroom.
judyfssw Posted January 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I think the limit at the casino is like 2,000 dollars a day. In any case, I know that it's much more than I want to spend in the casino. We've arrived at the pier about 11:30 and are usually aboard by noon (if not before). We are directed upstairs to the buffets. I have dropped off our luggage in the room and the room steward has not had a problem with that. I've also brought our carryon stuff with us while we ate. Prefer to drop it off first. We'll be getting off on the day that you get on. We'll try to keep the ship in good condition for you. Have a great cruise. smdubowsky Posted January 31, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2006 We will also be on the Constellation on Feb. 4th. It will be our fourth cruise on the Connie. While you can get on the ship, I would not necessarily rush to get there. There is absolutely nothing else going on at the Pan American pier. I have read stories of people waiting on long lines to be the "early birds." We've arrived between 2 and 3 PM and just walk on board and our stateroom has always been ready. In any case, see you on board!! Scott and Carol

robertLP Posted January 31, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2006 We were just on the 1/21 sailing of the Connie. My DH says the cash limit in the casino per day is ~$2000. We got to the ship at 12:30, walked on and went to our room, then explored. Have a wonderful trip!
Daphna101 Posted January 31, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I have the ability to change cabins on the connie..from 7197 port aft last cabin to 7208 or 7206. Both totally aft on the vista deck. Any idea as to the size of the balcony. I was told it is 181 sq, as compared to the concierge usual of 41sq? Advise as to best, the quietiest? without people haunding me from above or below. THanks can you email me Daphna101@aol.com Thanks Daphna

Take either if you can get one! Yes, both have these huge verandas, and many of us really like the aft view (see pics of this cabin and veranda at link in signature line below).
