wags Posted January 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I was reading about how it is possible for family and friends to give a gift of shipboard credits by contacting CC. I was thinking that this would be a great way to prepay the bill we will get at the end of the cruise. If I charge $100.00 a month for a few months I will have built up a reserve for onboard charges. Does anyone know if this is possible? Has anyone done it?

TN Vol Fan Posted January 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Sounds like if you've enough time it would be better to put you money in a interest bearing account and just bring it with you for the cruise. Why let the line get your money for free? Cecil
tarheelmjfan Posted January 30, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I gave my DH shipboard credit as one of his Christmas gifts. If you have a fax machine, they will fax you a receipt while you're still on the phone with them. Enjoy your cruise. :)
