SDcnm Posted September 13, 2019 #1 Ā Share Posted September 13, 2019 Hello All, Ā This is my 15th cruise but have never cruised out of New Orleans.Ā Our fight home is not until 6:50PM....so now, what to do all day??? Ā I'm looking into finding a place to store our luggage for the day so we can explore.Ā Any recommendations for storage places/apps would be great.Ā My daughter is a chef so we will be exploring food, food and more food for the day.Ā That, combined with a walking tour is the plan for the day.Ā We will be there the first weekend in Nov so I'm hoping the weather hold out! Ā Thanks for your feedback all. Ā Sheila
TxCityKat Posted September 15, 2019 #2 Ā Share Posted September 15, 2019 Howdy Sheila! Ā You might want toĀ researchĀ the Ports of Call - New Orleans forum. There are probably a lot more NOLA locals hanging out there that will be glad to help you. Ā I sincerely hope this information will be helpful and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! EnjoyingCruising Posted September 16, 2019 #3 Ā Share Posted September 16, 2019 A local restaurant critic has a website www.nomenu.com which has a breakdown of local restaurants by neighborhood.Ā This might be helpful for the food part.Ā I don't have a good suggestion for handling the luggage. kbh2 Posted September 20, 2019 #4 Ā Share Posted September 20, 2019 Following, I am trying to find someplace to store luggage as well in New Orleans for the day in a couple of weeks. I found a new, ( at least I think it is new), company called Stasher that is kind of like airbnb for luggage Just wish I could get some reviews on it before using it.Ā
Kwakwa630 Posted September 27, 2019 #5 Ā Share Posted September 27, 2019 I found a company called bagnb that lets you store luggage for $6/piece a day. Works really well!
