Hello, sailing on Jan 04, 2020 and would like info on the mattresses. Good or bad?

In my opinion, great!  Was on the 4/27/19 sailing.

On Royal now...as good as any other ship...including Majestic and Regal.  First time on Royal and the ship and her crew are great!  We would definitely sail her on again. Two 👍🏻 Up!!

this is a subjective question.  I read about the mattresses on the Princess site before cruising and was excited to try them especially since we are in the market for a new mattress.  After a week on our mattress, I will NOT be purchasing one.  I woke up stiff and numb every day (had to stretch just to work out the stiffness every morning) and my husband's side was lumpy.  Of course, your home mattress is not subjected to daily   use for months at a time (until replaced) by many body sizes. I can only say we were not happy with the sleep quality but loved the linens.
