P&O cruise with Thomas Cook flights included

We were due to fly out from Manchester at 6.00am on the 17th to Valletta with Thomas Cook. P&O have kept us updated by text and e mail.

 

Last night I noticed that our cruise personaliser had been amended to show the Jet2 flight. Yes, disappointed to lose a few hours in Valletta but it must be difficult for P&O to sort out replacement planes.

Father in laws flight has been changed to 6.30am from Gatwick on a British Airways scheduled flight instead of his lunchtime flight with TC. 

No pleasing him though... Too early and he has been to Malta before so not interested in spending the day there.. Grumpy git... 😊

We are also flying on BA from Gatwick on 17th but our flight, which I am sure was 6.30 am, is now 7.30 am. An extra hour in bed!

Excellent, as I am taking him to the airport, the extra hour comes in handy.

You are a good son in law! it looks like we will be getting a taxi at 3.30 am, but at least we should get a chance to see a bit of Malta

We fly home from Barbados on 2nd if November but not heard anything yet .

Has anyone received word from P&O yet regarding new flights to and from the Caribbean ??

We are doing back to back cruises sailing Trans Atlantic on Azura on October 18th and flying back

on November 16th but as yet have no indication of our airline or flight timing.

 

Anyone ???

no news as yet just the usual scripted answer .We are working our way through it.

Just had a refund for premium economy seats booked for Nov 29th to Barbados 

Had a look on cruise personaliser to see if new flights had been added, and lo and behold I could book seats but for the same Thomas Cook flight 😂

Gave them a quick ring just to confirm it was their infamous IT department at work. It was !!

Did ask the lady who they are using to replace TC and she said mainly Tui and some Virgin flights

keeping fingers crossed for premium economy flight with Virgin
