Matman1215 Posted September 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2019 I'm going to be sailing on a 16 night cruise and am wondering if it's more advantageous to upgrade my internet now or wait until I board? According to NCL, to buy Unlimited Wifi onboard would cost $386.40. Upgrading now, online, will cost $274.84. I know I can trade in my 250 minutes Free at Sea for a $125.00 credit when onboard, so therefore the cost onboard is $261. Its not a huge savings, but I have some nonrefundable OBC I would like to use and booking onboard allows that to happen.
Rsavtechcruise Posted September 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2019 If memory serves me if you are looking at your cruise planner and see the upgrade I believe it has all ready factored in the credit for 250 min. Also it is always 10% cheaper online prior to sailing
Randy NOSNOW Posted September 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2019 When I did the calculation on a 10 day cruse it came out more expensive to upgrade then to wait until we were on board. Upgrading only give $85 credit for the 250 min package. When we did it on board we got $125 credit.
Rsavtechcruise Posted September 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2019 I just check my planner and yes it looks like the credit is all ready taken in to consideration for the upgrade
