Hamburg mini-cruise

Our 2 night mini cruise  Southampton to Hamburg has a gala night on the last night.  Does anyone know if   luggage is put out the night before disembarkation as it is  on longer cruises? If so then we will probably do self disembarkation rather than trying to cram  gala attire into hand luggage. As long as the luggage is out before midnight, you'll be fine. We've put ours out even later without any problems. Just remember NOT to pack your travel clothes!

The luggage is handled in the same way as on longer cruises on the Southampton- Hamburg short cruise.

The new thing is Cunard squeezed a "Gala"-night in. I noticed, too, I am on the Hamburg-Southampton-New York crossing.

Maybe passengers complained that they did not get the "full experience" on the short cruises. You have time to pack the gala wardrobe after dinner and put the suitcase out before midnight.
