StaceyM Posted April 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2004 I have been informed by my TA that I am getting a ship board credit for my upcoming Elation cruise. (this was initiated by me, not her) anyway, my question is, will this credit show up on my DOCS and will Carnival most likely have a record of it at the time of Embarkation? I should get my DOCS in about a month and need to know if the credit will be reflected on them or if not, should I be concerned? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Cotton Posted April 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2004 This far ahead of time, it probably WILL be shown on your docs. If not, I would call the TA and get something in writing that you are to receive a shipboard credit in the amount of $___. Take it w/you, just in case it doesn't show up on your S&S account. PammyHound Posted April 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Cottons answer is right on the money! Ask for something in writing. On my last two group cruises I had shipboard credit coming as part of the perks package booking with an official CC group, we had all had credits, it was not on the docs but was on our s/s cards when we checked in. 1stimekruiser Posted April 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Since you still have a while before you're cruise, your docs should reflect it or you'll get some kind of notification in the mail. If not, verify with TA before cruise and remind the people at check in about your credit. JohnnyO Posted April 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2004 I have to agree with Cotton...Let me tell you how good those make you feel after you have spent a week drinking, shopping and purchasing excursions....you are almost a little better about having to leave the best thing there is...a cruise....Get documentation tho.... StaceyM Posted April 21, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Thanks so much for your help!! I am just so excited about my credit which is 510.00 for my cabin!!! I just don't want to have any problems with it when I get there. My TA has not been the most helpful but she has e-mailed me with the amounts of my credit. I printed it. She claims that is all I will need. I just wanted to verify with all of you..the real experts!
JohnnyO Posted April 21, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Ahhh how sweet....I just listen very well to the experts....PammyHound is almost gonna be a "Blue Ribbon Cruiser"(when her posts hit the ol 5000).... With that kind of credit you can almost say that you can drink and shop for free. JohnnyO
