Favorite way to spend the day?

We did SOOOOOO much stuff and saw so many things with our Best of Barbados tour from Glory Tours. This last cruise we decided that settling for just a snorkling tour, party boat, etc wouldn't let us really see the islands.

With Glory, we got to see Harrison Caves, the Wildlife Preserve, driving tour through Bathsheba, picture stops, lunch at a local eatery, snorkling, swimming with turtles, glass bottom boat, and so much more!!! It was an all day affair.. Then, we went to the Boatyard to party/have dinner in the evening. It was a fantastic day :)

We also chose to do a private tour on Barbados. We chose Cameron Reid http://www.scenicbarbados.com and couldnt have been happier. We did not want to do the caves or the rum factory but asked Cameron instead to show us the people of Barbados, their history and the spectacular beauty of the island. That is exactly what he gave us. He will custom fit your tour to whatever your interests are. He knew everything about everything and was obviously very proud of his island.

Both of the above are great ideas or, you could get a map, rent a car and see the island at your pace. Bajans are very friendly and helpful, and very proud of their home.

There's so much to see and do, which is why we keep going back. Someday we may even see the major tourist attractions like Harrison's Cave.

We hired a car, went to the Wildlife Santuary, Bathsheba, Harrisons' Cave and of course had a drive around the interior.

Great fun, lovely island and we will return one day for a land based holiday.

Don't just hit a beach or go shopping, this island has so much to offer.
