Skoobdo Posted November 12, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2019 I have two cruises booked that go to Jordan. One at the end of April and the other at the end of November. For those who have been before, would you select April or November to visit Petra. Thanks in advance.
Rare John Bull Posted November 12, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2019 Petra is in the high desert, so it's much cooler than Aqaba & elsewhere on the Red Sea. I don't think you'd have a problem with either of those months, altho April is generally a little drier and warmer but not too warm. You'll need transportation from (presumably) Aqaba. Whether it's ship-sponsored or private, take a waterproof and a sweater or jacket. When you arrive you can decide whether to wear or leave in the vehicle.
