Hi just read some stuff about people selling there coupon books for a cruise?? Please explain and if so how can one purchase them ? is like a ebay thingor somthing?

We received a coupon book on one cruise. Most we for buy 1 get 1 free on drinks, or spa discounts. We didn't use and found it difficult to get them away. But some people find them valueable

Is this what you might mean? This is a fund-raiser book that many groups sell all over the USA. I know they ofter have $100 off cruise coupons for many lines.

We had a coupon book that our TA had left in our cabin. There was also another one that was yellow, and they were spread across some gaming tables in the casino on Saturday while in LA. I grabbed one, and it had most of those coupons mentioned above, as well as the same ones as in the book our TA supplied. When you board, take a walk through the casino and see if they have any out on the tables for you to take.

The Entertainment Book is different - and there are a lot of restrictions when trying to use the cruise coupons. I tried to use one once and it didn't work out, as the fare is higher even with the $100 discount than the lower fares available through many TAs.

 

The Entertainment books can be useful when in cities, though, for restaurants especially.
