lstone19 Posted December 3, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2019 On all ships, production shows are performed by the ship's resident entertainment staff and do not change from cruise to cruise (except that if a ship is doing shorter cruises, not all of them may be performed on a cruise - for instance, I was told on Regal Princess, which has four production shows, that on 7-night cruise, only three are performed each cruise). On the other hand, the specialty performers are only on the ship for a few nights (unlike passengers, performers embark and disembark at intermediate ports). A specialty performer on one cruise may not be on the next cruise of that ship. Some of these performers move from ship to ship (and some from a ship of one line to a ship of another line) while others perform mostly on land and will just book a ship to fill a hole in their schedule.
