HighSeaslover Posted April 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2004 I always plan a very romatic evening for my wonderful husband on all of our cruises. On our last cruise I purchased a beautiful diamond ring for him and had a special cd made of our favorites and ordered dinner in and had a wonderful evening. Well the problem is I can't think of anything this time to do. Any ideas would be great. I have the time to plan something cause we are not cruising till Sept. Please help me WoW my wonderful husband. After 16 years it becomes hard to think of new things. Salty Dawg Posted April 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2004 HighSeasLover, Noticed the notation "Family trip on the Triumph" in your post. Are the children going with you? Your answer might influence the suggestions you receive!
Fran Velardi Posted April 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2004 That sounds so nice, I am cruising with my "new beau"on the Conquest in June, My suggestion is to give DH a spa treatment, of your own, some warm scented oils, candlelight, a nice bottle of champagne. or favorite wine, All that rubbing and sliding around can only lead to one thing, then you can order in dinner after that. good luck, and have fun Triumph 2002 Legend 2003 Conquest 2
HighSeaslover Posted April 24, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted April 24, 2004 Yes it is a family cruise but I have the best Mother in the world... she has agreed to have all three of the grandchildren in her cabin and all of my bothers and sisters and spouses are allowed to bunk alone... isn't she wonderful.. the spa treatment is a wonderful idea but I did that on our second cruise... it was very nice.... thebird Posted April 24, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 24, 2004 I'm gonna be watching y'all! Wish I could contribute, but haven't cruised yet, so feel inexperienced on the details. halos Posted April 24, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 24, 2004 derf..you are too much! I have been married quite a while and I guess all I have to say is that you have to remember that what is romantic to a man is always different than what is for a woman. I agree with NancAngel that one of the best things you can do is to buy something very sexy to wear...men are visual creatures. It's that Mars/Venus thing. HighSeaslover Posted April 24, 2004 Author #9 Share Posted April 24, 2004 Reading your idea and taking in your suggestions are wonderful. The chocolate strawberries are a GREAT idea, I hadn't used that one. I will be buying something new and sexy. You know it is nice to do this cause it makes each cruise very special to us. And my husband enjoys it so much he is easily talked in to booking the next one.
