myshipcamein Posted April 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2004 I'm new here and have been lurking. Thought I would ask any Miracle cruisers if the balconies are private. Also, How far is Cocco Beach from the docks in Pt. Canavral.
godallas Posted April 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2004 The Balconies have dividers if that is what you mean - My Son has in laws that live in Coco Beach and we spent last Christmas Day there - We could see the Disney Cruise Ship going out - I wasn't driving but I would say Coco Beach wouldn't be more then 5 miles from the Port - Curtis US NAVY RET (Whole bunch of Ships) Sensation 5/97 Fantasy 11/98 Sensation 9/00 Spirit 12/02 (Christmas) Triumph 12/03 (New Years) Pride 5/9/04 Miracle 12/12/04 Until Our Next Cruise
bar10der421 Posted April 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2004 They are not so private that I would consider doing the "dirty deed". LOL If your cabin is near the life-boats, remember that the crew is sometimes working on them. 5/2 Miracle cruise
bjkeen Posted April 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2004 The balconies are private enough for relaxing. I wouldn't do anything on the balcony that I didn't want someone else to see. People above you can see down into your balcony. I agree with the above post, I haven't clocked it, but Cocoa Beach is probably five miles from the port. It is awesome to drive across the bridge and see the Carnival tail fin sticking in the air. momofmeg Posted April 27, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 27, 2004 The partitions are made of this opaque material and you can see the outline of your neighbors. You can also hear everything they say and as my neighbors smoked I also got their cigerette smoke. From what I understand though this is true of balconies on any cruiseline-not sure of that as I am only repeating what I have read here at cruisecritic and Miracle was our first balcony as the other ships I have been on only had balconies with suites which was too rich for our pocketbook.
