cjbx Posted January 23, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2020 Lately when we have cruised, it has been on the Jewel Class ships. On those ships there is usually a different nightly show that ends about 7:45 or 8PM. After that we could get in most any restaurant without a reservation or much waiting. We really don't like planning where we will eat on a given night months in advance, but most posts about the bigger ships make it seem like this is mandatory. We are now planning to try the Bliss and stay in the Haven. I don't think there are new shows each night, but several big productions that repeat throughout the cruise. Is there a reserved space for suite guests, or do we need to make a reservation for the shows? How hard is it to eat dinner at 8PM or so? Will we need reservations specialty restaurants or the Manhattan Room that late? Will the concierge take care of those? Thanks for any advice. tumblew467 Posted January 23, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2020 The haven has its own restaurant and you can eat there before the show. There is a reserved space for Haven guests and the concierge will escort you down to the show. I still make reservations just in case. I am pretty sure if you want to go after a show that savor/ taste is open till 10 and Manhattan is open till 930pm. But I would make reservation at specialties for sure. I know I had a hard time getting mine reserved online. THe concierge can help if you need to get the time changed. But If you want to go lets say at 7-8 it might be difficult to get them on that day on the day of. The concierge can only do so much. So better to book in advance.
