teacher2cruiser Posted February 2, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2020 Of these hotels, which would you recommend for a one night pre-cruise Seattle stay? We will arrive in Seattle early afternoon and hope to check out the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens. Rare Gardyloo Posted February 2, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2020 Obviously the airport HI Express is at the airport, so not very convenient at all. And while the Holiday Inn looks close to Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly) on the map, it's not all that short a walk, owing to some streets being dead-ends. The Garden Inn is also a fairly long walk from most things downtown, including the monorail to Seattle Center. I'd probably choose the Garden Inn, but I'd also be looking for alternatives a bit closer in.

Eaglecw Posted February 3, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2020 Hyatt House Seattle/Downtown https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/washington/hyatt-house-seattle-downtown/seaxd is worth looking at if you want to be close to the Seattle center. Executive Inn By The Space Needle https://stayexecutiveinn.com/ Inn at Queen Anne https://www.innatqueenanne.com/ Be forewarned Seattle is an expensive place to stay. Rare kctwinmommy Posted February 3, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2020 We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton, near Seattle Center, and it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the things you want to see. Plus they had a shuttle to the port, although we didn't use it. https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/seafp-four-points-downtown-seattle-center/
Prost Seattle Posted February 19, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2020 The Hilton Garden Inn is only 4 blocks from the Monorail and downtown Nordstrom, but there is extensive construction across the street. But there is construction everywhere in Seattle.
