I think there may be some wheel of fortune machines with different denominations. I just took random photos of different areas. Hopefully there are 25 cent wheel of fortune machines for you!

OK I have a really silly question.  I see that the ship now has Bubly (Pepsi's version of LaCroix).  I am totally prepared to bring my giant starbucks glitter cup and refill it at the soda fountain with club soda every hour or whatever (I am obsesssssed with sparkling water...yes I am a millennial sue me haha. Even my two year old twins are always saying "want so-a wadder" lol.  Please don't judge :p) but I cannot figure out if Bubly is included in the drink packages.  It's not "bottled water" but it's not fountain either.  I saw that they stock Bubly on the menus here (under "Non-Alcoholic Refreshers" ) but it is unclear whether that is included or not.

I asked the bartender if Bubly is included in the Beverage Package and he said No because it comes in a can. You can get sparkling water as a fountain drink though.

Fun Fact for those who have never sailed on NCL:

If you look at the carpets in the hallways of the stateroom areas, you will see tiny fish swimming. If you are going with the flow and in the same direction of the fish, you are going towards the front of the ship. If you are going against the school of fish, you are going towards the back of the ship.

We will be doing the 4 day to Bermuda out of NYC in April.  Does anyone know which menus they use for 4 days?  This will be the first time we’ve done less than a 7 day cruise and all those menus look sooooo good! 😁

Day 6- At Sea

 

Yesterday's GLOW party was great!  The energy was there and the DJ played a great mix of music. The cruise director and staff did a good job setting the tone of the party and getting everyone involved. Definitely another highlight of the cruise!

Today I was proactive and decided to get up early (8am) to get a good spot on the pool deck. No such luck as all the seats were taken on Deck 16. There were still loungers in the sun on Deck 17, so I count it as a win and worth getting up early for. 

We spent most of the morning and early afternoon sunbathing, going in the pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi. I might have over done it as now my back is sun burnt! Good thing I packed some aloe gel. 🥵

We went to have a late lunch at The Local and then decided to try our luck at the blackjack table. Table minimums are cheaper in the afternoon starting at $10. At night it goes to $15 and above. Lady luck was on my side as I won $135 on my first hand! There is a side bet on the table where if you play $1 minimum, you win 125:1 if your first 2 cards are 2 Queen of Hearts. So I won $125 on the side bet and my original hand of $10! It went up and down and I decided to cash out at $100 profit!

After getting up early, getting too much sun and the adrenaline of winning in the casino wearing off, we decided to take a nap in the room until dinner.

We actually cancelled our dinner reservation at Onda and I decided to use my last specialty dinner at the Food Republic. With the dining package you are allowed to pick any 4 items off the menu. Using a little strategy, we decided to use only 1 of our dining credits and share the 4 items. You order off an iPad which provides pictures and descriptions of the items. After selecting your items, it is sent to the chefs and then brought out to the table by the waiter. We decided to get the Ramen Soup, Fried Calamari, "Tiger" Sushi Roll and the Lamb Chops. 

The food was excellent! Everything was full of flavor. If you enjoy Sushi, Asian/Latin fusion food, you will love this restaurant! 

Since we only used 1 dining plan, we still have 1 more credit to use for tomorrow at a specialty restaurant.  I think we will goto Q for some BBQ food which will also be possible to split or American diner.

After dinner, we went to the Cavern to watch the Beatle Story: Abbey Road. The singers did a great job with the songs from this era that included Let it Be and Hey Jude. The crowd was very much in to it. 

After the show we decided to get a quick bite at the buffet before heading to Ocean Music Fest by the pool deck. We just got back from The Music Fest and we thought it was another go to event! The rock band performed a variety of hits and it was a great outdoor concert. 

Well time to turn in!

Now this right here is super solid advice. I don’t think I could eat four sushi rolls to save my life (well, I suppose if the situation were dire...). I never thought about doing this. Thank you for sharing, I think we will do this as well since food republic was high on our list. And thanks for checking on the Bubly!!!! I am going to have to steel myself bc I could rack up a LOT of extra charges with those haha 😛

Tex (is that the TX?) sorry to bother you again, but if you can possibly find out how much the zip line is at GSC I would be SO obliged.  I am trying to decide if we should zipline in St Thomas or at GSC.
