Fantasy Room Location help, please!

We are on the Empress Deck on the Fantasy which from what I can see is the highest deck with rooms. Our cabin is E47 which is front of the ship and near an elevator and excursion desk and information desk. Can anyone who has sailed the Fantasy tell me if this is a good location to be in? Seems great to have everything near but just wondering if that is true. Also, what about being up higher and sea sickness? Any help would be much appreciated!

If I recall that is a good location, the Fantasy is a nice ship. Some say higher up you feel the motion more, I find the opposite to be the case.

 

Where in IN? I grew up in Bloomfield.

We're in Terre Haute! Thanks for the help. We were booked for an OV guarantee but then got an upgrade. This is our first cruise so I was a little unsure.

:D You'll love the Fantasy! We were in an OV on the Empress deck, and it was a perfect location! We felt almost no movement at all. Food was super, staff was excellent, and we had a great time! I learned, however, that a 4 day cruise was just not long enough!

You will love the Fantasy! We sailed on her last September for our first cruise and have booked it again for our upcoming anniversary. We were on the Main deck with an OV room and decided to go with a balcony this time. I think you will love everything about your cruise, the food, the staff, etc. By the way, my Husband is from Rushville, In. Such a wonderful town, always love going up for a visit.

I sailed on the Ecstacy in Nov. 2004, and it is a sister ship to the Fantasy. The Empress deck is very nice, not much motion at all in our experience. Also, the Fantasy class ship is very nice and well-laid out.
