This is your lucky day! We just got back from NY on Saturday and stayed at the Hilton Times Square. Our room was on the 33rd Floor and you could see the port from our window. The Queen Mary II was in town and we were lucky enough to be able to take a 2 hour tour - WOW what a ship! The hotel is in a great location with restaurants, shopping and Times Square right at your doorstep. It's about a 20 min taxi ride to the port from the hotel and it will cost you about $7 to $10. Which ship are you going on?

I going on the Legend on July 26th, but we want to come down on sunday instead of monday, because the democratic national convention is in town starting monday morning, and we don't want to get stuck in traffic because they are shutting down so many roads.
