Golfbag Posted April 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Our carnival brochure does not show this category but cruisestateroom.com does. Does anyone have any experience with this?
kristineth Posted April 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2004 We had a category 9A cabin on the Triumph. (sister ship to the Destiny) Our cabin wasn't much (if any) bigger than a category 8 cabin, but the wrap around balcony was *much* bigger. The 9As seem to vary in shape and size depending on the location on the ship and on the class of ship. You can check out some pictures of our 9A balcony/cabin here: 9A Cabin Kristin Triumph 10/01 Pride 09/02 Glory 09/03 Mariner of the Seas 09/
CabinForFour Posted April 26, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2004 We had a 9A on deck 6 of the Victory (cabin 6461). It was about 1.5 times the size of a standard category 8. The balcony was fabulous. I have photos of that cabin on the link below, "Two Little Sailors" in the Charleston, Fun Day at Sea, and Freeport albums. We LOVED this room, even as much as the category 11 suite we had previously on the Victory. 10th Anniversary Cruise -- Paradise, March 2004 Two Little Sailors: Victoria's First and Benjamin's Fourth cruise -- Carnival Victory, October 2003 Benjamin Sails to Bermuda-- Carnival Triumph, May 2002 Benjamin's Birthday Cruise -- Carnival Destiny, Jan. 2002 Benjamin's First Cruise -- Carnival Victory 2000 Paradise 3/04 - Exotic W.
