Miami & Port Canaveral beaches

Snooper...all of the public beaches that are run by Miami-Dade County have facilities. Hotels with beachfronts typically frown on you coming up and using theirs unless you have lunch or drinks at their beachside establishments.

All of our beaches are public (i.e, the actual sand and ocean), but you can't just plop yourself down on a lounge chair that are reserved for the guests of that hotel etc. Each hotel usually has beach boys/girls that will answer your questions as you walk by. If they allow you to rent a lounge, then typically that gives you access to all of the hotels (pool, bathrooms, showers) beach facilities as well.

Hope this info helps!

Michele :)
