Summit vs. Mercury for Panama transit trip in 2007

I'm trying to plan a trip for my parents for Feb. 2007. Which is a nicer ship to be on for 14 days? What perks on X will they get for being RCI crown and anchor members?

Mecury is smaller if mobility is an issue. Personally, I just like the smaller ships more.

 

How many C&A cruises do they have? That will determine the perks.

See, I am just the opposite of Gail--I LOVE the M class ships, so much nicer in the spa cafe, T pool & just larger areas & more things to see & do & more comfortable lounges as well.:D PLUS the fabulous aft balconies on the m class are our favorites.

I have done the Panama Canal, 14 days on both ships. I enjoyed them equally!

The only thing now which would have me select one over the other is price and cabin selection.
